This insightful product design allows for processing multiple cartridges concurrently and for quick, easy upgrades as new cartridges are introduced into the market.
Fast Facts: 1. OEM QUALITY REFILLS - The RIS InkCenter™ uses advanced vacuum chamber technology (patent pending) to eliminate virtually all trapped air, enabling the InkCenter™ to maximize the amount of ink delivered to the cartridge, well beyond the amount that rivals achieve. This process also enables the InkCenter™ to achieve multiple refills on a cartridge that has been well cared for by its owners.
2. HIGHEST QUALITY CONSUMABLES -The RIS InkCenter™ solution provides only the highest quality inks that deliver superior boldness, text quality, color match and overall vibrancy. Other consumables, such as the wipes, cleaning fluid, protective clips, and even the hole labels all contribute to the refill quality. RIS has taken great care in developing and selecting consumables that insure maximum consumer quality. For example, incompatible wipes can easily scratch and clog the printhead (i.e. paper fibers and lint are the same size as inkjet nozzles). The RIS wipe is lint-free, scratch-free and uses de-ionized water with mild solvents.
3. BROAD CARTRIDGE SUPPORT - The RIS InkCenter™ handles top-selling cartridges from HP®, Lexmark® and Dell®, comprising a majority of the inkjet printer market. Supported cartridges include black, color and specialty photo versions. The supported cartridge list is continually expanded as new popular cartridges are introduced into the marketplace.
4. PRECISE AND AUTOMATIC - The RIS patent pending Active Sensor Technology (AST) automatically determines processing times, fill rates and fluid levels while monitoring and controlling the entire process. This combination of key features allows the operator to focus on attending to customers. In addition, the AST ensures that the inkjet refill quality is consistent without depending on operator judgments.
5. AN EASY FIT IN EXISTING RETAIL SPACE - The small footprint and standard counter height profile of the RIS InkCenter™ allows for easy placement of units within an existing retail space - either against a wall, in any corner, or in the middle of the action. Only front access is needed during normal operation. All refill operations are located at counter height eliminating ergonomic problems for operators.
6. SIMPLE, CLEAN FLUIDS MANAGEMENT - Handling inks, cleaning fluids and waste can be a messy process if a system is not designed properly. With sensors on all fluids and complete monitoring on the touchscreen, management becomes simple and straightforward. RIS avoids the extra work of clean up by incorporating a self-cleaning ink system that has virtually no ink waste. Replacement of empty ink bottles is fast (i.e. 10 seconds!) and easy with a specially designed no-spill container.
8. INTERNET CONNECTIVITY - The RIS InkCenter™ is Internet-enabled with full remote diagnostic and upgrade capabilities. It is also equipped with customizable consumable inventory tracking and ordering capability. Ongoing training can be Internet delivered and viewed on the touch-screen video display.
9. OPEN ARCHITECTURE - The world-class RIS software team uses the royalty-free and reliable Linux operating system for fast upgrades, increased up-time performance and more responsive issue resolution.
